360 TECH INDUSTRY: INEGI participates in international trade fair dedicated to industry 4.0, robotics, automation and composites

06 - 05 - 2019

From May 16 to 18, INEGI will be present at the first edition of the 360 Tech Industry – International Trade Fair of Industry 4.0, Robotics, Automation and Composites. The event takes place at EXPONOR and will bring together professionals from the industrial sector, inviting them to learn about the latest innovations and tech solutions to improve their business.

The initiative is an opportunity for INEGI to present its skills, particularly regarding Industry 4.0, automation, composites and additive manufacturing.

Establishing themselves as a technological partner of industry, the Institute’s range of services aims to create value for its customers and partners. From streamlining the process of transformation to the new industry 4.0 paradigm, increasing profitability and productivity through automation, developing new and better products using composites, to creating value through new production processes.

On display at stand E14, INEGI will have technologies representative of these services. Among the projects to be discovered is an innovative suspension arm, which, through the use of composite materials and new manufacturing processes, contributes to the reduction of the weight of the vehicle where it is inserted and consequent increase of energy efficiency, at the same time it guarantees competitive production costs.

Visitors will also be able to know more about a project that included the creation of precision sensors to implement in SmartGRIDs, as well as see a 3D printing platform based on a robotic arm, capable of improving the parts manufactured by this process.

INEGI also combines product and process innovation with strategic advice to help companies take the technological leap forward towards Industry 4.0. Knowledge that the Institute will share in the cycle of conferences "Let's talk 4.0", with the participation of José Sampaio, director of INEGI’s Innovation and Technology Transfer, with an intervention dedicated to "Materials and Intelligent Processes" to be held on May 17th at 12:00 p.m.
